James Akabwai the former Kigezi College Butobere is dead.
Akabwai 73, who also headed Ngora High School and Teso College, was pronounced dead on Sunday at Soroti Regional Referral hospital.
The late Akabwai James started his career in the Education sector as a Geography Teacher at Kololo Secondary School in Kampala.
Prior to this, he received his degrees, a Masters of Education and a BA (Hons) respectively, from the Makerere University.
Between 1976 and 2001, Akabwai served at various schools as Assistant Registrar and Deputy Director.
The late AKabwai joined Kigezi College Butobere in 1994 as Head Teacher and served four years up to 1998 when he crossed to Ngora High School until 2001.
In 2002, he joined Teso College Aloet where he served until 2009.
