The challenge will be going to a higher notch, facing South Africa which is coached by former Cricket Cranes coach Conrad Shukri.
However, Baby Cricket Cranes coach Ivan Thawithemwira and his boys have everything to gain as they come up the 2014 champions. He believes they picked positives against Ireland and ready to hit the ground running yet again.
“We have very good building blocks on which we can construct our house. We have seen the bowling department do their part, they managed to contain Ireland. We saw some good partnerships and a good half century. There was good finishing from Miyaji. Many of our KPIs have been ticked off today,” said Thawithemwira.
He added, “We have just have to look at our starts, especially the batting, how we start has been a problem once again today. We just have to see how we can improve. But we are hopeful that we shall be able to rectify all that. We hope to keep building on the positive, we have to do what are supposed to do right.”
The match will start at 4pm East African Standard Time.
