Delhi Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia announced today after a DDMA meeting that all Delhi schools will be reopening from November 1 for all classes.
Schools will reopen from Nursery to Class 12. No student will be compelled to come to school and may choose to continue studying through online classes.
Covid-19 safety guidelines to be followed
A few guidelines were decided at the DDMA meeting held today:
- Schools will be operating at 50% capacity only.
- Parental consent would be compulsory to come to school physically.
- The education department has to ensure the enforcement of CAB and see that the teachers, staff, and transportation personnel are 100% vaccinated with both doses of the vaccine.
- As per the information received, 90% of the staff have already taken at least one dose.
