Former KCCA FC defender Samuel Nemeyimana Kato has been officially unveiled at Rwanda Premier League entity Bugesera Football Club.
The youthful defender penned a two-year contract with the club and will don shirt five.
The ball playing defender is among the many players who have departed the Kasassiro Boys in the ongoing transfer window as the club squad for next UPL season takes shape.
He has previously played at Buddo Secondary School (O and A level), represented Uganda at the U-17 level and won the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup with KCCA and played in the CAF competitions.
Kato joins Sadicky Sulley (Espoir), Jean De Dieu Nsabimana and Bryan Muhinda (both formerly at Sunrise), Patrick Umwungeri and Abdul Muniru from Mukura Victory, Obed Kagaba (AS Muhanga) and Jackson Baransananikiye (Bumamulu) as other new signings.
Former Police FC duo of defender Dennis Rukundo (AS Kigali) and striker Ben Ocen (Musenze FC) are other Ugandans who have crossed to Rwanda Premier League in this window.
