IPL 2021: Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli unveiled blue jerseys resembling colour of PPE kits of frontline warriors and revealed that these jerseys will be auctioned to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination drive in India.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli unveiled the blue jerseys which RCB will wear against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on September 20 to show their solidarity and support towards the front line workers during these harsh times due to Covid-19.
Captain Kohli said that the blue jerseys will be auctioned after RCB’s first game to offer free Covid-19 vaccines to lesser privileged communities in India.
“This a different kind of a blue colour I’ll be sporting. It gives a message and it will be a milestone for RCB. It will be auctioned after the match to accelerate vaccination drives in India,” Virat Kohli said.

Instead of their flagship ‘Go Green’ campaign jersey, RCB will be sporting blue this year. The blue jerseys will also have important healthcare messages engraved on them. RCB are wearing blue jerseys to show their solidarity and support towards the front line workers during these harsh times due to COVID-19
