Amid speculation of him joining the BJP, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the latter’s residence in Delhi. The two leaders discussed the prolonged agitation by farmers against the Centre’s three farm laws, Capt Amarinder Singh’s media advisor said.
“Discussed the prolonged farmers’ agitation against farm laws and urged him to resolve the crisis urgently with repeal of the laws and guarantee MSP, besides supporting Punjab in crop diversification,” Capt Amarinder Singh’s media advisor Raveen Thukral quoted him as saying.
