It will be business as unusual when Uganda Forces clash at the 2021 National mountain running Championships scheduled for Saturday 25th September in Kapchorwa.
The event will feature two categories – Junior (Born not earlier than 1st January 2000) and the senior who will run the 6.5Km and 13Km races respectively.
According to Uganda Athletics Federation, team managers are required to submit Covid-19 status reports of their athletes and Officials for clearance to participate in the competition in adherence to Ministry of Health SOPs.
This year’s Championships is, however, expected to exceed 300 runners owing to competition starvation to the athletes mainly due to COVID-19 lockdown.
