THE FAST OBSERVER NEWS | It is more than six days since Ugandan opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine was arrested in his house along with an eighteen months old child.
Bobi , his wife Barbie Itungo , home helpers and a baby got stuck at home when the police and military surrounded their home on 14th January afternoon.
Evidence of police blocking Bobi wine and wife from accessing food even from their home garden is available including a video where Barbie was harrased by a male police officer.
“Day six under house arrest and we’re still stuck with an 18 months old baby.” Bobi said in a Facebook post.
According to Bobi, This baby’s dad had brought her to visit her auntie (Barbie) just before the home was raided and besieged, So he was blocked from picking her up.
But even with this, Museveni’s government has refused to release Kyagulanyi from house arrest, Police and army in a joint security meeting on Tuesday said they are not ready to release Bobi Wine now.
“We have completely run out of food and milk yet no one is allowed to leave or come into our home.” Bobi Wine
The fate of the child is not known now, because of her age she could die fast if starved for more than a week.
