Bobi Wine challenges Uganda’s electoral process in supreme court

THE FAST OBSERVER POLITICS | Ugandan opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine is challenging the completed election process.


Wine showed intention to challenge the January 14th presidential election in which the electoral commission announced incumbent Yoweri Museveni as president elect.

According to the Judiciary spokes person, Bobi wine informed the court through his lawyers that he will file a petition challenging the electoral commission and all process.

Wine was put under arrest immediately after casting his vote in the afternoon of Thursday 14th January. He was released on 26th January after a court ruling, Bobi wine will now challenge what he calls the most flawed election in the country’s history.
