|Munashe Chavunduka – Author of Lock-down Reflections|
An Unexpected Shift That Triggered Moments of Introspection.
As the title implies, Chavunduka wrote this book during the time when his home country; Zimbabwe had enforced restrictions to curb the spread of the corona-virus COVID-19 earlier on this year.
Although the COVID-19 lock-down season came with a lot of shifts, most which were negative, this young man decided to make the most out of his time.
“When the lock-down season started, so many things in my life were disrupted. Nevertheless, I found it as a time for me to really sit down and take a comprehensive look and analysis of my own personal life in relation to what was going on in the world.” Chavunduka said
Considering the general perspective of the lock-down season by the masses, Chavunduka’s book brings a new angle through which many can be inspired, not just to focus on the negative effects of the pandemic but also work out something that is good.
“It was during these moments of self-reflection that I also decided to share hope and positivity by compiling positive points of thought and also share more information on the importance of critical issues in today’s society,” he added.
