|Police block Bobi Wine Campaign in Sironko District|
The National Unity Platform president, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also Bobi Wine on Sunday told supporters that security officers support change.
While addressing a rally in Kumi District, the former pop-star assured attendees that if they get organised and keep pushing, security officers will turn to start supporting the opposition.
The 36 year old young activist is in a presidential bid with Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni who has ruled the country for 34 years .
Bobi Wine spoke these words on his fourth day of the campaign, he started from Northern Uganda Earlier last week.
Bobi also called on his supporters not to decline money that is allegedly coming from Museveni’s camp to bribe voters, He told them to accept the money But vote for change.
“I didn’t come with money. Wait for Mr Museveni he will give you the money. Eat it because it is ours after all but vote for us to make sure our money is not used to buy our conscience so he continues to torture us.” Bobi said.
“We are many and those soldiers you see believe in us, They will join us only when we are organised. We can do this,” He said
